We’re excited to have you join our community! In preparation for your child’s first day we ask that you complete the below steps. Please be in touch if you have any questions or would prefer to complete your child’s enrollment in person.
Step 1: Download Our Orientation Documents
Please read these documents through and keep them for your future reference.
Step 2: Complete and Sign
The following documents require you to fill them out and sign them. Please download each document. Then you can fill them out electronically using text boxes, or print them, fill them out by hand, and scan them. You can keep any paper copies for your own records. In Step 5, you will be required to submit these forms electronically.
Step 3: Child Care Assistance (optional)
We accept funding from the NM Early Childhood Education & Care Department’s (ECECD) Child Care Assistance program, which supplements child care costs for many NM families. This program provides assistance to families on a sliding scale up to 400% above the federal poverty level. To find out more information and see if you qualify, please visit: https://www.nmececd.org/child-care-assistance/. Once you fill out an application, please let us know so we can keep an eye out for your ECECD contract and coordinate any adjustments in your Pando contract from there.
It can take a very long time to be approved for a child care assistance contract. We urge you to begin this process now if you think you may qualify. You are responsible for your child’s tuition until your contract is approved. Once approved, we are happy to reimburse you for your tuition according to your contract’s start date.
Because the state reimburses Pando at a rate lower than our true cost of care, we must limit the number of contract we accept. If you are pursuing a child care assistance contract, please contact the director so we can verify that we will be able to accept the contract, should you qualify.
All families on contract will be billed monthly for the tax of their child care assistance payment.
Step 4: Online Enrollment Form
Please complete this online enrollment form so we have all the information we need about you and your child. In addition to entering information, you will be asked to upload the forms from Step 2, your child’s immunization records, and a photo of your child and family for classroom use.
This step must be completed all at once, and you cannot submit it without uploading the required documentation first, including your child’s immunization records. This platform does not let you save progress and complete later, so we recommend that you gather your information and records before you begin. This step should take you no more than 20 minutes.
We apologize in advance for any redundancies across these forms. By entering some information twice, you help our program be in compliance with state licensing regulations and ensure that we have all the important information in the places we need it in case of emergency.
